"Nefer" the ancient Egyptian word meaning “perfect, complete, and beautiful,” .

Nefer is the third in a series, following works inspired by an African beaded neck collar and a zebra painting created for a private billiard room. Drawing on memories of North Africa and the lasting imprint of Ottoman influence, the artist creates a work that bridges heritage and contemporary vision. ​ Swirls of color trace the vase’s elegant silhouette, evoking beauty in motion and mood. Culturally resonant and visually dynamic, Nefer reflects the artist’s dialogue with history, memory, and form.

Patrizia's memories and archeological passion were guiding forces in these creations. Amazing to find two very classic vases in the Caribbean. They were created then fired using the very traditional method of pit firing utilizing coconut husks. Contemporary flair with mixed slate, glass and ceramic tessere.
