Spring was a rush to completion of clay models for casting, then back and forth to the foundry to finalize new bronze sculptures.
For those unable to attend the ATLAS gallery exhibition here are a couple of highlights
June 1 was opening night of solo art exhibition "ATLAS" in Pietrasanta, Tuscany
The artist reception with Florentine art curator Luca Monti went off without a hitch on June 8th; and June 29th was closing reception. The show was well attended with lights out at NAG Art Gallery usually around midnight.
Steel and bronze sculpture "Atlas 2024" makes its debut at the gallery
Pietrasanta is famous for it's proximity to Carrara, Michelangelo's marble quarry of choice and as an art destination and virtual outdoor museum. Chic, quaint and steeped in history and culture.

Updates and times to follow
Situated on the Roman road via Julia Augusta, Bordighera has been inhabited since Palaeolithic times. Steeped in pirate history and dynastic tugs-of-war the village eventually transformed into a fortified mideavel town. Napoleon Bonaparte left his stamp with the “Corniche Road” helping connect the otherwise sleepy and isolated town. The Industrial or Golden Age attracted English tourists establishing beautiful hotels and palazzos, the addition of the railroad station further easing travel from Paris. Center to the "Riviera dei Fiori," Bordighera is also know for it's gardens and parks and art center in the early 50's thanks to Peggy Guggenheim. With it's beaches and Lungo mare, Bordighera maintains an upscale atmosphere with beautiful churches, cafe’s, shops and restaurants. Visit Bordighera.com
"National Geographic" included Bordighera's sunset among the 10 most beautiful sunsets in the world.

And last but not least . . .
May brought the debut of “A Gift from God” at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Patrizia and partner Adrian Dozier both having minor parts in the film. Yes, you heard right. The film about Micheal Jackson and his search for spirituality actually debunks many myths about him, truths that only the US media can find a way to bury.
Patrizia’s role as psychoanalyst Dr. Laura Martinelli placed her in a scene with Michael Jackson, played by Joshua Consiglio. The faith based film, a Condor Pictures Production was directed by Liana Marabini and is now in distribution globally. It was a wonderful experience working with great people and attending the opening of the Festival.
. . . our lives are steered by uncertainties, many of which are disruptive or even daunting; but that if we persevere and remain generous of heart, we may be granted a moment of supreme lucidity—a moment in which all that has happened to us suddenly comes into focus as a necessary course of events, even as we find ourselves on the threshold of a bold new life that we had been meant to lead all along.
