THE HUNTER 2026 / 78 x 18 x 16 cm / Bronze / Edition of 12
Finely crafted limited edition bronze series of 12, cast in Pietrasanta, Italy
Colors: gold and black with hints of copper on textured stone base

As if a man honed out of rock or a stalactite, a reminder that early man dwelled in caves. The Hunter is a roughly textured, tall, thin and upright figure spear in hand, a relic of the primitive challenges of scoring a meal in the wilds. Inspired by Lion Man, one of the most remarkable works of prehistoric art ever discovered made roughly 35,000–40,000 years ago, during the Ice Age.
Featured statue of the "Balzi Venus and Beyond" solo exhibition at the Mar di Ventimiglia Museum on Italian Riviera near Monaco. The show ran through the month of August 2026.
